Not Your Privilege to Claim

"next to of course god america i
love you land of the pilgrims' and so forth oh
say can you see by the dawn's early my
country tis of centuries come and go
and are no more what of it we should worry
in every language even deafanddumb
thy sons acclaim your glorious name by gorry
by jingo by gee by gosh by gum
why talk of beauty what could be more beaut-
iful than these heroic happy dead
who rushed like lions to the roaring slaughter
they did not stop to think they died instead
then shall the voice of liberty be mute?"

He spoke. And drank rapidly a glass of water

"President Bush, in a constitutional showdown with Congress, claimed executive privilege Thursday and rejected demands for White House documents and testimony about the firing of U.S. attorneys (Bush Defies Demand for Files.)"

Would somebody advise Ranger where to find this concept of executive privilege in the Constitution of the U.S.? Possibly it has been added to the Bill of Rights without a popular vote, led by legal eagle Legislative Man Cheney.

The GWB White House plays fast and loose with every aspect of constitutional rights except when using questionable-to-non-existent legality to justify their positions. Except this executive privilege is not based in law.

Impeach GWB if he won't comply. He serves the citizens as well as anyone else on Capitol Hill, and is not beyond the rule of law. And being strictly executive, he doesn't even have weasel room to straddle fence, as weasel Cheney attempts to evade the rules.
