A Military Valentine's Day

_________________________

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so don't forget your sweetie on your way to stocking up your ammo cache.

ChocolateAmmo.com and ChocolateWeapons.com have just the thing to get you out of the lurch, handsomely packaged in new ammo cans.  (If your little filly is of the romantic bent, go for the Currier and Ives-style versus the OD Old School can.)

I wish they were cast in dark chocolate, as they would then be both good and good for you.  Being of the artistic bent, I would match the best dark chocolates from each nation with their iconic weapon: Kosher chocolate with Uzi, Belgian with the FN FAL, etc.

Some say it with flowers, others with bullets.  Just be sure there is some chocolate and bubbly involved.

[n.b.: RangerAgainstWar has no connection with these chocolate companies; Lisa saw their advert at a lad's site, Thrillist London. ed.]

Whoa. THAT puts a whole new spin on "sucking the shotgun" (or the handgun, in this case).

I wonder if the stuff is any better than those nasty cheap-ass Easter bunnies? The ones that taste like brown wax?

I'm afraid they do look waxy ... not Scharffen Berger, I'm afraid.

I'm thinking the fine art of weaponry might not always intersect with that of gastronomy.
