President Bush recently phoned in encouragement to an anti-abortion rally on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade at the Supreme Court, saying the cause "cannot fail."

Last I checked, we had a separation of powers in this nation. Roe vs. Wade is a 34-yr-old Supreme Court decision upholding the establishment clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and the right to privacy.

If the president doesn't support the laws of the land, then he shouldn't be president. This is not a Biblical or a religious discussion; it is a Constitutional issue. Someone needs to inform him that he is not part of the judicial, but rather, the executive branch, and that he mayn't cross over. That's not cricket.

If GWB is unwilling or unable to fulfill the legal requirements of the Office, then he should resign.
