Since by patriot Limbaugh's reckoning we are at war -- something he has said often -- then isn't his statement an act of treason?
Limbaugh's damnation issued to his yellow-ribbon bedecked, zombiefied faithful is worse than anything Jane Fonda ever thought of doing. If Limbaugh speaks for a sizable portion of the U.S., then we truly are a lost nation.
Knowing as we do that Limbaugh's cohorts see Iran weapon-selling Ollie North as a True Patriot and Uncle Ronnie as some sort of brave, deep-thinking icon, it is a pitiable thought.

I couldn't agree with you more! And it's not just the "at war" factor either. Rush WANTS our economy to crash, WANTS American businesses to fail. That's one seriously dangerous America hater as far as I can see.
Just remember who the source is...in truth, Rush is a drug addict who keeps falling off the wagon. He's also a very small man with a very small penis, whose only method of getting attention is stomping his foot in a huge tantrum and saying outrageous things.
In short, put him in the proper perspective...who is the adult and who is the child.
Btw, as Obi wan Kenobi said, "who is the bigger fool, the fool, or the one who follows him?"
For me, I pity his listeners...him, I can ignore, but his poor listeners...boy howdy aren't they going to have egg on their face when they come to their senses.
the other day i was listening to a republican apologist say about rush:
he has a wide constituency
that's when i turned that idiot off. rush has no constituency. he has an audience.
jeez, these assholes are fools.
i keep falling down on the idea that speech, even odious speech like rush spews, needs to be free.
he can say bullshit and hateful things like "i hope obama fails."
it's his right. if we allow government to shut rush up their next move is to shut us up.
the best way to shut up guys like rush is to let their sponsors know that we refuse to buy their products if they are advertised on his show. even products we use and prefer.
the only way to take his forum from his is to change his status in the eyes of the producers and sponsors.
if a boycott, similar to the one that only had to be threatened with imus can change rush from an asshole who makes them money into an asshole that costs them money he will disappear.
