This is a lovely bit of satire sent by reader Deryle. It occurred at feeding for the homeless at Lake Ella, Orlando, 7.6.11.

Lonely Guy enumerates the plight of the rule-making hominid that we are, nicely, holding an I ♥ Police sign. Irony is not dead, though it would have been nice had it been more subtle. This is not the day of Twain, however, and a fillet knife will not work for the benumbed masses; some still thought this was real.
