Choose Gopher
If you gotta shoot, aim high.
I don't wanna hit the groundhog
--Groundhog Day (1993)
License to kill gophers
by the government of the United Nations.
Man, free to kill gophers at will.
To kill, you must know your enemy,
and in this case my enemy is a varmint.
And a varmint will never quit - ever.
They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong.
So you have to fall back on superior intelligence
and superior firepower.
And that's all she wrote.

Two views on nature, as seen through two different lenses. The first is Canon's ad in this month's National Geographic: "Wildlife as Canon Sees It"; the other, by Sierra Bullets in Rifle Shooter Magazine. It struck Ranger as ironic, seeing them as he did in different publications in the same day's reading.
Same gopher: He's either cute viewing, or a varmint worthy of dispatch. Two opposite orientations vis-a-vis the same scene.
So which do you prefer:
A Canon, or a rifle?
