Both parties preach that America is the leader of the world.  This is our destiny and we must accept this fact.  Both Mssrs. Obama and Romney have confirmed this idea during this campaign.

But why do we accept this assertion?  What do we gain by our role as leader?  Did we become a nation conceived in liberty to become exactly what we overthrew in our Revolution?

Does any nation possess the right or duty to call cadence for nations on the other side of the world?  What confers this right upon us?
