Unwed Mother of All Civil Wars

I often wonder why GWB is so insistent upon the fact that there is no civil war in Iraq. This flies in the face of current reality, and requires an uncompromising belief in his own unique brand of divination. He may miss the nuances--or even the basic tenets--of science or logic, but he has a strong handle on ideas that have no basis in the rational world, i.e., on faith, and his own divine connection.

As Christmas is coming up, it naturally brings to mind the baby Jesus (thank you, Ricky Bobby). And attendant upon this fact is his absence of an earthly father, or so the story goes. Anyway, in this sense America is rapidly becoming more Christian, in that about 30% of all births are out of wedlock (the number of immaculate conceptions, unknown.) With this phenomenon, the father is freed of social, if not economic, responsibility.

GWB understands this. It is for this reason that he does not want to claim this baby. He planted the seed, yet now disingenuously wants to claim a result of only a "little bit pregnant." Unfortunately, this baby won't spontaneously abort, nor will the mother miscarry. The only miscarriage going on here is the miscarriage of justice, which is healthy and thriving.

Lurch,

We believe this is a virgin birth; only the mother is known, thank G-d. Like Cheney's daughter, Mary, possibly this was an AI case; a Republican donor, of course.

Mr. Rumsfeld is obviously Solomon, Lurch, as this baby is gonna have to be cut up. The mother will issue no protest this time 'round.
